The Napa Valley Cabernet is a blend of our Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Oak Knoll District Cabernet Sauvignon (15%.) This is a nod to our past when some of our production hailed from the Oak Knoll District (including the inaugural wine!) Oak Knoll tends to give big, fleshy, tannic wines, so adding it to our Spring Mountain wine helps make that wine more approachable earlier on.
Bright fruits of raspberry, cherry and currant burst through the chocolate truffle and vanilla bean overtones on this rich and vibrant wine. This crowd-pleaser is meant to enjoy now but should hold up well for several more years if you can restrain yourself.
