Flying Lady

Pair Your Adventure

Flying Lady is a small-batch winery with varietals that certainly pair beautifully with fine food, but also with all seasons, avocations, and adventures. Located in the heart of Napa Valley on beautiful Spring Mountain, our setting is an idyllic location full of spirit and remarkable natural gifts of soil and climate to produce premium fruit at one of Napa Valley’s oldest and rare wine regions.

What's in Flying Lady?

In addition to a lot of passion from the vintners, Flying Lady Wines are all authentically handcrafted from single vineyards and blocks selected by our master winemaker and oenologist, Leigh Meyerling. In our pursuit to make the finest wines, we see the journey as an adventure—vintage to vintage—and we welcome you to be part of our voyage.

Spring House Vineyard

Our flagship York Creek Vineyard and neighboring Winery are at an elevation of 2,187ft at the fog line on Spring Mountain.

Limited Production and Single vineyard

Each varietal is produced from single vineyards. This practice and our methodology yields a lower production but higher quality.

The winemaking methodology

Our process is to test and monitor the vineyard throughout the growing season to harvest. This discipline continues through fermentation, racking, and bottling.

Barrels and Cooperage

Carefully selected new French oak barrels, with specific toasting profiles and racking methods plays an important part throughout the aging process.

Reviews

“Very well balanced. Everyone would love this wine as it is pleasant, and full bodied without being to fruity or to dry.”
